Are We a Good Fit?
Before choosing LifeChange Psychiatry for your mental health care, it’s essential to understand if our services align with your needs. We offer medication and supportive therapy for various conditions like depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and PTSD. However, there are a few important things to note:
We only accept new patients between 16 and 65 years old.
We do not fill out disability or workers’ compensation forms.
In line with Georgia law, we require an in-person appointment before we can prescribe any controlled substances.
Medications like Xanax, Klonopin, and Ativan, known as benzodiazepines, are typically not recommended for daily, long-term use. Prescriptions will be carefully considered based on individual needs.
Please consider these points to decide if LifeChange Psychiatry is the right choice for your mental health journey.
